Introducing the Diamondette Simulated Diamonds Collection
Share
Meet our Diamondette Collection! Our Diamondette jewelry features simulated diamonds that let you achieve the look and feel of real diamonds at a fraction of the cost.
The Four Cs of Natural Diamonds
- Carat: This is the actual physical weight of the diamond. The bigger the carat, the more expensive it’s going to be.
- Cut: How a diamond is cut doesn’t refer to the shape, but rather how the diamond’s facets interact with light, along with the proportion of the diamond, and the overall finish (“Understanding Diamond Cut”).
- Color: A truly colorless diamond is very rare; most diamonds will have small defects or impurities, which will give them a tinge of yellow or brown. The more flawless a diamond is, the more expensive it will be (“What’s the Difference”).
- Clarity: Diamonds can have different characteristics–both internally and externally. Internal ones are called inclusions; external ones are called blemishes. Diamonds without inclusions or blemishes are very rare, and therefore more expensive (“4 Cs of Diamonds”).
These four Cs are what determine a diamond’s price.
The Four Cs of Diamondette
With our Diamondette Collection, we have also taken into account the 4 Cs of diamonds.
-
Carat: The carat size of each piece is measured the same as natural diamonds.
- Diamondette Tennis Bracelet: Approximately 3.80 carats
- Diamondette Hoops: Approximately 2.00 carats
- Diamondette Huggy Hoops: Approximately 0.80 carats
- Diamondette Slide: Approximately 3.00 carats
- Cut: The cut and shape of each Diamondette piece maximizes its brilliance.
- Color: Our Diamondette diamonds are a brilliant white stone with a simulated D rating, which is the “highest color grade a diamond can receive. This means that the diamond is completely colorless, and there are no visible tints of yellow or brown in it. The D color diamond is the benchmark of quality, extremely rare, and emits unrivaled brilliance” (“A Guide to Diamond Color”).
- Clarity: The clarity on our Diamondette diamonds is flawless, meaning “it does not contain any inclusions or blemishes, under the scrutiny of 10x magnification” (“A Guide to Diamond Clarity”).
Taking all of that into consideration, if you took the Diamondette Slide, equivalent to a 3.00 carat, D-rated, flawless diamond, it would cost over $125,000! But our simulated Diamondette is just $35! Now that’s a bargain!
Plus, our Diamondette Collection has a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty. Which means we can add two more Cs to our list—Cost and Confidence!
